Electroencephalography Laboratory

Electroencephalography Laboratory

The CNC and LITERA Electroencephalography Laboratory supports an interdisciplinary program of basic and translational neuroscience. We have a 128-channel Biosemi ActiveThree device, complemented with audio, video, and biosignal recording systems, devoted to characterizing multidimensional correlates of various behavioral processes.

The unit was created with the following specific objectives:

To reveal how language relates to other brain systems depending on individual experience.

To characterize the neurobiology of the interpersonal abilities.

To detect early neurocognitive markers of brain disorders.

To identify neurophysiological patterns that predict sleep habits and their everyday impact.

To create a framework for training and service provision around the topics above.
